Luminos represents a generation of individuals that know they want more from life - that know they're capable of more. Individuals that are filled with ambition for greater things, whether that be work, travel, fitness, family or spirituality.
Inspired by me desire to escape the 'rat race', the brand relates to the struggles I encountered with regards to being seen, in a world that is ever-so connected. In an age of social media I think it is more important than ever to understand that the power of the individual still exists, and I want the daily process of getting dressed to serve as a reminder of this. By creating clothing that envelops feelings of confidence, that inspires you all to wake up each and every day and be great, I want you to pursue what you are passionate about, and most importantly be you while doing so.
The name Luminos take inspiration from the phrase 'Lost in the Light', one that I particularly resonated with as I came to learn the struggles of being seen, regardless of living in a time where it is the easiest it has ever been to reach others. Combining the words lumen (light) and lost (lost), I formed Luminos, a name which I feel perfectly encapsulates the brands ethos.
My goal is to create much more than simply some items of clothing, but rather a brand, a community of individuals, and most importantly, a feeling. It wont happen overnight, but that's the beauty of it. To find joy in the process of creating and building is so important to the longevity of who we aspire to be, so I truly hope you'll come along for the journey with me.
